Submissions Guidelines

The International Journal of Contemporary Multidisciplinary Studies publishes original research, reviews, case studies, short communications, and conceptual papers of all disciplines in areas of scholarship, research, professionals, and academicians. Authors are expected to be guided by the following submission rules in order to have a smooth and efficient process of review and publication.

1. Manuscript Preparation

Until it is submitted, authors must make sure that their manuscript:

  • Is entirely original and not submitted or published elsewhere
  • Demonstrates scholarly honesty and moral research conduct.
  • Written in proper brief English.

Manuscript Format:

  • Title Page: This should be the complete title of the article, author name(s), affiliation and contact details.
  • Abstract: A brief overview of the research (usually 150250 words).
  • Keywords: 4-6 terms which are the most relevant and which are a reflection of the core content.
  • Main Text: Divided into distinct parts (e.g., Introduction, Methodology, Results/Findings, Discussion, Conclusion).
  • References: Use a standard citation format (i.e. APA, Chicago or IEEE - as used by the journal).
  • Tables & Figures: Numbered and titled; included within the manuscript or submitted as separate files.

2. Submission Process

All the manuscripts should be sent online with the help of the journal submission system: Go to the Submit Manuscript page of the journal Web site and complete the steps to upload your files.

Upon submission, your manuscript ID will be sent in a confirmation email, which would allow you to track your manuscript and communicate with future.

3. Peer Review Process

  • Peer review is a two-way process of ensuring objectivity and quality of all submissions.
  • The selection of the reviewers is determined by their expertise in the subject and the relevance in the research.
  • The editorial decision (acceptance, revision, or rejection) and comments of the reviewers will be sent to the authors.

Review Timeline: Customers are generally between 4 to 8 weeks after the submission date.

4. Revision and Resubmission

  • In the case of revisions made, the authors will be required to respond to the reviewer comments and resubmit the revised work according to the required time.
  • The revised manuscript should have a detailed response to reviewers document that answers the comment points one after another.

5. Publication and Copyright

  • All published manuscripts will be published online and made free of charge under the Open Access Policy of the journal.
  • The copyright of the work is retained by the author, but the journal is given the distribution and printing rights of the article.

6. Ethical Standards

The research provided to IJCMS should follow the ethics, which include:

  • Owing treatment of data, results, pictures, and referrals.
  • Prevention of plagiarism, duplication of publications and falsification of data.
  • Complete disclosure of any possible conflict of interest.

All submissions go through plagiarism checks and manuscripts that are found to have unethical problems will not be accepted.
